Good evening dear tutor and classmates,

Dear Heidi, excellent video, I think the duration is appropriate and I like how you explained the topic. I would recommend that you turn up the volume a little bit next time because of there are some background noises are heard.
I loved the topic you chose; it is very interesting and can help us all. Now we see that podcasts are widely used in the world of communication by people who want to share their opinions or simply talk about interesting or educational topics.
As future teachers, we know that listening is a fundamental and important skill in learning a foreign language and, as such, it must be of primary importance in the classroom since it is part of the 4 language skills. Today, thanks to new technologies, the resources to practice this skill is limitless, and, in the case of audiobooks, I think that there are more positive effects than negative ones.
I liked the presentation you made to publicize the file and that you used many images. I congratulate you again.

Have a nice day.
Warmest regards,
Eliana Sofía Leal

The topic that you chose is very interesting due to it shows us the importance of the audiobooks as a useful tool to grasp the English easily. Audiobooks are proven to help students with reading disabilities become better readers and learners. They can be a powerful tool to support comprehension, boost confidence, save time on schoolwork and ultimately lead to better outcomes
when students are offered the opportunity to have audiobooks in the classroom, their world can finally open up. Having books read aloud helps these struggling readers move beyond the decoding and right into learning. The more words they learn and incorporate into their knowledge base, the better able they will be to access grade-level materials.
Finally, students who struggle with decoding and the mechanics of reading spend so much time focusing on sounding out the words that it is difficult for them to retain the information they are reading. By eliminating the focus on decoding they are now able to retain, remember, and understand the content. When students begin reading with their ears, they start building their working memory. This helps them respond to questions about the text more readily. The more often this happens, the more confident a student gets around the one subject that has plagued them, reading. Building working memory helps make other reading tasks easier and improves reading ability.
